Abstract: The design and development of innovative online STEM educational materials that effectively engage learners in non-traditional classroom settings is a pragmatic way to cultivate STEM career interests of precollege students of color as well as their self-efficacy. This study focused on the design and evaluation of an online forensic science course that included hands-on practical exercises offered to high school students of color in the Midwest.
