Abstract: Just as online learning is much more established at the higher education level than at the K-12 level, so too is research into this area This presentation will report on the results of the re-analysis of more than a decade of research into each of these areas, focusing on identifying areas of similarities and differences In particular, the degree to which models, conceptual frameworks, and theories focused on online learning in the higher education sector may also be applicable to the K-12 sector will be explored
