Abstract: The study examined students’ perceptions of Facebook, Twitter and blogs as learning tools Survey questionnaire was used for data collection The population was made up of 109 undergraduate students The results showed that most students were unenthusiastic about the use of media tools to support learning The findings revealed that African American and Hispanic American students perceived that using Facebook during instruction enhanced collaboration among learners Findings indicated that African American respondents believed that tweets were helpful in sharing ideas However, White, Hispanic and Asian American students did not have similar view The findings revealed that students enjoyed using social ...
