Best Practices
ID: 50965
Abstract: This study presents a two-course sequence of instructional design courses that were designed, developed, and implemented using a flipped classroom model for both online and face-to-face contexts. The proposed presentation will 1) demonstrate how two flipped instructional design courses were designed and developed, 2) share findings from 50 student response surveys regarding perceptions and satisfaction with the new model, and 3) discuss the successes and challenges of implementing these courses while reflecting on the practice of teaching instructional design.
