Using 360° video in Physical Education Teacher Education

Abstract: In Physcal Education Teacher Education (PETE), the use of video goes back a long way (Anderson, 1975 ; Greenberg, 1971). Recently, 360° video is more and more used but in Physical Education and in teacher education there's not a lot of research about the use of this kind of video. With this study we show the potential effect of the use of 360° video in teacher education. Two main results can be underlined : 1) 360° video allow preservice teacher to live an immersive experience and 2) 360° video must be used with wide angle or point of view video in order to understand the situation in depth.
