Share Paper: Expertise regarding Digital Equipment Use in Elementary Science Teacher-Training Course
Abstract: This paper describes empirical findings from a practice teaching course regarding for the use of digital equipment on elementary science education. International survey on academic performance reveals that instructions in classes in Japan have a surprisingly-reduced frequency of use of computers and the Internet. Responding to questionnaires by undergraduate junior students in elementary science teacher-training courses in Tokyo Japan, students assess their upgrowths in “development of teaching materials” and “teaching science” with digital equipment. Meanwhile, many respondents mention about their needs for understanding characteristic of digital equipment. A sense of hard-to-prepare for future utilization of digital equipment are also ascertained.
