Abstract: Attention, memory, and critical thinking are the three broad areas of human cognition that can help us inform the effective use of technology in the classroom. In this session participants will learn how to align their teaching with how the mind works. Learn practical ways to incorporate strategies in online learning environments that use technology effectively and get students motivated. Specific tools and strategies will be introduced that can be used in each of the three areas of cognition.
