Abstract: The purpose of this project is to support and facilitate a comprehensive ePortfolio assessment system across K-12 with a focus on Developmentally Appropriate Practices and a way to connect with 21st Century Skills. The Alaskan JournEy Portfolio project is a collaboration between the university and local school districts, to promote and support an authentic assessment process using the Digication platform, an electronic portfolio. The JournEy portfolio is a tool and process that the local school has adopted to collect, analyze, and synthesize children’s work samples to document children’s learning and share with families.
