Abstract: As the Virginia standards of learning continue to drive what children learn and what teachers teach, it is essential that researchers continue to explore diverse ways to deliver content that is required and engaging to students. Teachers also benefit when students come into the classroom already exposed to the content. This exposure provides students with a context for what they will learn and explore in the classroom.
