Abstract: Digital Storytelling is the practice of using technology tools to tell a story. This learner-centered activity harnesses the students' creativity, can be adapted for a variety of courses and content areas, and is a terrific way to add interactivity to online courses. This session will discuss how to get started with digital storytelling, demonstrate several (free!) tools students can use to tell their stories, and share examples of educational uses of digital stories.
