Abstract: Underlying beliefs of teachers influence technology integration. New technologies in the classroom change its ecosystem, and using phenomenology to understand the change can explicate impact on beliefs and teacher identity. Despite the possibilities of phenomenology, research on 1:1 using this methodology remains thin. This study fills that gap by using phenomenological research methods to draw a rich portrait of teacher experience when effectively integrating 1:1 technology in the classroom.
