Abstract: Advancements in technology over the last two decades have had a profound impact in the educational and work domains as well as on socio-cultural aspects of our lives, creating a powerful influence on how we live, work, and interact with one another. But there are still groups where the penetration of technology is low: adults with little exposure to technology during their traditional learning years, users from lower SES, lower education levels, resulting in a digital divide between the digital haves and have-nots.
