Abstract: This proposal will highlight some of the potential pitfalls that may occur while giving feedback to students in an online setting and how, as teacher educators, we may mitigate some of these issues and help our preservice teachers to understand the critical role of feedback on student learning. In an online or hybrid environment, the absence of face-to-face cues and timely opportunities to react to feedback is missing.
