Abstract: In this poster, we present early phase work on a technology-enhanced practice space for teachers called Media Interactive Case Studies. This technology aims to create a low-stake practice space where teachers can rehearse and reflect in-the-moment decisions in authentic classroom scenarios requiring teachers’ cultural competency. Using a design-based research approach, we are investigating affordances of the technology for creating low-stake practice experience for teachers.
