Abstract: Distance learning is becoming more favorable for the delivery of education for students unable to attend school physically, and the integration of video learning is becoming more common in distance education. As video learning theory is generally used to add text, pictures, and audio to enhance learning, it can be used for distance learners. The integration of the video platform to the learning management system(LMS) helps institutions add video directly to courses via the LMS. This makes it easy for students to respond to assignments via high quality videos and faculty to create, edit and distribute high quality media for students’ learning. Online video throughout the course can increase student engagement, with quizzing throughout the video, which can provide a new way to improve learning outcomes. Using Kaltura video platform, educators can use interactive video quizzing to boost engagement, evaluate knowledge, and improve student learning outcomes.
