Abstract: With rapid and recent advances in electronic technology, it is not surprising, and perhaps even expected, that veteran teachers of mathematics received little to no instruction on how to use such technologies for teaching and learning mathematics. As technology evolves, so do the materials used for preparing teachers in the current era. This article presents an overview of how electronic technology is presented in textbooks written for mathematics content courses for prospective elementary teachers.
