Abstract: Information literacy (IL) skills are vital for millennial undergraduate students. These students are digital natives accustomed to vast amounts of available information accessible at a moment’s notice. The option of accessing the library and librarians virtually is second nature. The challenge becomes how undergraduate students apply IL to determine the reliability of information. LibGuides provide a versatile web-based tool that can be used for research topics, specific assignments, tutorials, special collections, and almost any electronic resources in a library’s vast collection. The Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL) created a framework for information literacy as a guide to design information learning experiences. This combination of the ACRL framework and the creative use of LibGuides makes web accessible content to teach undergraduate digital natives information literacy skills. Examples of creative LibGuides that support the ACRL framework are included.
