Abstract: Who handles music rights in the US? Are cheap Russian music-site downloads legal? Will Fair Use cover music for aerobics classes or school assemblies? What about choir, orchestra or band performances? What happens if a teacher gets caught downloading illegally? Based on a series of practical questions with real life answers, punctuated by quick polls to test the audience's prior knowledge, this presentations covers the issues that plague educators at all levels as they try to enrich their students' lives with music.
