Abstract: Higher education today has a diverse student population, high attrition and need for remediation, reduced state funding, increased tuition cost, and expanding student debt. Many educational leaders have determined a need for tutoring to address the problems of diversity, high attrition, and remediation. However, a one-to-one tutoring approach is not always possible and is limited by the tutor’s knowledge and ability.
