Abstract: Although mobile phone use in schools is increasing swiftly, very little is known about teachers’ willingness to use these devices in the classroom or their beliefs regarding the possible uses of this technology in their classrooms. In addition, there are no valid surveys to explore teacher perceptions. The purpose of this study was to validate the Mobile Phone Use in the Classroom (MPUC) survey, an instrument developed by Thomas, O'Bannon and Britt (2014) in order to support continued exploration of this gap in the literature.
