Abstract: This session will report on the innovative uses of interactive video tools that have been implemented in an online teacher induction program. Participants will have the opportunity to experience these tools as our beginning science teachers do and examine their potential for immersive learning, collaboration, and community in an online learning environment. We will also facilitate a discussion about how these tools can be used to engage learners at a distance, allow a more natural expression of participants’ ideas, and assess the learning of the teachers in an authentic way.
