Online teaching involves different skills than classroom teaching and new online instructors need professional development programs to prepare them to teach online. This brief paper will share an online professional development program developed based on a framework to prepare faculty for online teaching. It starts with an introduction to the institution and the program, followed by a brief review of related research literature and a description of the online modules in the program, and concludes with a short discussion and summary. The framework and the program can be beneficial to all who are passionate about online teaching.
