Abstract: In this symposium, we explore the importance of creativity, as a key construct for 21st century education in general, and in terms of technology for teaching and learning in particular. Creativity is clearly a vital theme to education, not only because of its role as a principal driver for growth, and new innovations, but also as a key attribute of thinking, learning and solving problems in our complex world (Cropley, 2003).
