Abstract: The main purpose of this study is to compare the views of the prospective teachers before and after a STEM robotic problem-based intervention. Understanding the perceptions and concerns of student teachers is crucial for promoting teacher education programs’ outcomes. Research Questions: This research project focused on the following two questions: 1. How does the robotics curriculum impact student teachers views about STEM instruction? 2. How do student teachers perceive their understanding and comfort with STEM technology impacts their teaching competence? What is going to be shown or demonstrated: The researchers will • Discuss Next Generation Science Standards • One or more students of the robotics classes will present their engineering work and engage in conversation. • Students will demonstrate the robots and programming and engage conference participants in discussion and allow them to try out the robots.
