Evaluation of Faculty Boot Camp Professional Development for Online Course Instruction

Abstract: This paper reports on the innovative and qualitative results of a professional development Boot Camp required for all online instructors offered at one small, rural, southern university. Research results on Faculty Professional Development in online instruction and self-reflections of four online-experienced faculty are summarized for this innovative Boot Camp professional development.
