Abstract: This paper presents the findings of a study that analyzed preservice teachers’ perspectives on (a) their faculty’s use of Web 2.0 technologies versus traditional classroom technology use and (b) their descriptions of how faculty used the technology. Using descriptive survey methodology, results indicates that most of the traditional technology use is significantly decreasing. However, results also revealed that the use of Web 2.0 activities has not changed significantly, with the exception of classroom activities using blogs and video creation.
