Abstract: This presentation is intended to present and examine interactive Digital Citizenship Lessons created by teacher candidates. Standards aligned for the lessons included: Common Core, ISTE, and 21st Century Skills. The lessons were implemented in a Digital Learning class along with feedback and time for reflection. Teacher candidates revised and tweaked the lessons for a K-6 Integrated Curriculum Conference for In-service Teachers. The lessons encompassed brainstorming, citizenship scenarios, iPads, QR codes, iMovie Trailers and Google Forms as ways to collaborate, create, and construct meaning about Digital Citizenship. The focus of Digital Citizenship within the Digital Learning course led to a continued desire by teacher candidates to heighten their efforts on the subject by providing sessions for elementary students. Additional outcomes led to the development and modification of a survey that focuses on the perceptions of faculty and students in regard to Digital Citizenship.
