Abstract: The purpose of this panel is to begin an open dialogue about the definition and role of context in educational technology research. The presenters in the proposed session contribute expertise in a variety of areas, from teacher preparation and professional development and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) to the development of teachers’ knowledge and practice with respect to integrating technology into science teaching and teaching with social media.
