"Googlizing” productivity tool integration for pre-service teachers

Abstract: Productivity tools used in K12 schools and classrooms are constantly changing. Redesigning a required productivity tools course in a teacher education program in order to move the focus away from Microsoft Office products and toward the use of Google products addresses one such trend in the use of K12 productivity tools. Students enrolled in this course were asked to complete a pre-post survey regarding productivity tasks using Google Products. Results indicate students’ proficiency using Google Products increased after the course.
