Abstract: This brief paper presents an overview of the learning attached to the video production process, a discussion of engagement theory and the production process as underlying conceptual frameworks, a short description of UMass Lowell’s experience integrating video production into the curriculum, and a brief look at one Masters level history education course and the specific video project students were asked to create.
