Abstract: In this study the researchers investigated how preservice teachers are being prepared and how they should be prepared in teacher preparation programs and professional development for the technology standards required in the classroom from the perspective of inservice teachers. This research study was designed and implemented as a beginning study into the perception of inservice teachers on the preparation of preservice teachers with respect to classroom technology and technology integration. Three main implications are addressed through the results. The implications for preservice teacher preparation programs, for professional development programs, and for inservice teachers are addressed.
