edTPA and Teacher Evaluation in an Online Teacher Preparation Program

Abstract: Central to determining the effectiveness of technology and value of technology-based program structures is the quality of teacher preparation. One widely accepted measure of quality is edTPA. This session describes one university’s initiative to support teacher candidates in online programs in their understanding and application of edTPA tasks.
