Abstract: We conducted one of the largest ever studies —of which phase 3 is ongoing— to gather students’ and teachers’ perceptions of the main uses, benefits, and challenges of daily use of the iPad in class. In all, 9,855 students aged 10 to 17 years and 657 teachers responded to the research questionnaire. In addition, we held 44 group interviews with students and 16 group interviews with teachers.
