Lecturers’ Attitude towards the Social Media Integration in Courses: A Case Study in Thailand.

Abstract: This paper presents the lecturers’ attitude towards the social media integration in courses: a case study at Mahasarakham University in Thailand. The research methodology uses a survey approach. The instrument was the questionnaire of attitude towards the social media integration in courses. The data were collected through the research instrument with 31 participants and were scored by using arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The research findings the lecturers agree that using social media is easy to conduct in online courses, social media’s characteristics can be an effective communication channel between lecturers and learners, and social media’s characteristics can be effective supportive tools to create a learning community of learners between classes and universities, in that order. The lecturers undecided that infrastructure and internet system in faculty of education are adequate to use social media in courses.
