Abstract: How can we efficiently design graduate students’ major course learning outcomes into a project-based learning environment? How can we have graduate students collectively contribute their cross-collaborative student learning outcomes in an efficient protocol? These two questions drove the current “Lives In Context” project-based learning course design for one university’s instructional design and educational technology program. The process and product rubrics that guide the collaborative cross-course BlackBoard shell design will first be shared. These rubrics are used to guide shared discussion thread posts, progressive project development, and web conferencing sessions.
