Abstract: Due to the limitations of current course management systems, educators may look to emerging technology such as social media to create rich, collaborative, and innovative learning environments for their students. This session will examine the advantages, challenges, and lessons learned of graduate online educational technology courses that were designed using the social media platform Google+.
