Mobile App Usage in German Universities

Abstract: The current evolution of mobile technologies and applications (apps) integration at educational institutions across the world has provided a shift to a new learning environment via various platforms using tablets such as iPads and different types of mobile educational apps for course content delivery and as a method of instructions (Khaddage, Zeidan 2012). Educational institutions globally are moving into the digital age. This contribution draws a picture and the usage of electronic mobile devices and mobile apps in higher education in Germany.
