Abstract: This paper reports on the results of the professional development segment of a statewide technology needs assessment conducted in the spring of 2012. Results of the questions regarding the quality and quantity of technology professional development available to teachers indicate that there is much room for improvement. Teachers do not believe that there is sufficient professional development for them to be able to fully utilize the available educational technology. Additionally, the surveyed teachers are critical of the quality of the professional development they do receive.
