Virtual Brief Paper
ID: 38547
Abstract: This study identifies middle school teachers’ stages of concern regarding the integration of Web 2.0 technologies into their professional work. The results indicated that teachers were most concerned about understanding (information) how to use the technologies. Their next highest ranking concern was how the technologies would impact (personal) their work. Their third highest ranked concern was how to use the technologies in collaboration with others. The findings may be useful in developing more relevant and helpful professional development programs for teachers.
