Share Paper: Integrating iPads to Support Struggling Readers

Abstract: The hands on workshop will help educators understand iPad applications and creative ways to effectively use the iPad in their classrooms to support struggling readers and writers in the primary and intermediate grades. The presenter will demonstrate how to use the iPad to improve student performance and understanding of concepts through creation, not just consumption. Participants will be encouraged to try out the applications and create sample projects they can share with their students.
