Abstract: A university graduate mathematics education program partnered with a school district for the purpose of providing graduate mathematics education students opportunities to explore influences of technology in elementary mathematics classrooms relative to student achievement using a community-based research project. Five graduate mathematics education students conducted 1123 observations during a 20-week period in 17 elementary schools recording technology usage in elementary mathematics classrooms. Study findings revealed predictive relationships of technology usage with students’ mathematics achievement.
