Abstract: In this cross-curricular presentation teachers demonstrate their use of free “Jing” software to create onscreen videos to supplement instruction and feedback in both secondary senior Chemistry and Core French courses in Ontario. In Core French, this tool is used both to provide students with ongoing feedback on their work, as well as, to support students in developing their listening comprehension and oral communication skills. Jing allows for students in French to have an ongoing asynchronous oral dialogue.
