Abstract: Video Games continue to be extremely popular. With this widespread popularity comes evidence of prolonged engagement, problem based learning, socially constructed learning, and other well-known aspects of education. These features that seem to be constant in many video game settings are coveted aspects of traditional education. In this poster, we will provide in-depth qualitative analysis of the campaign story script, providing connections to educational practice and theory. Additionally, implications and conclusions will be drawn and applied to traditional education settings to suggest ways in which education can be “gamified”.
