Share Paper: Can Games Create Culturally Competent, Disability-Aware Teachers?

Abstract: In this article, a review of the need for training culturally-competent, disability-aware teachers is outlined. The article suggests teacher education may use games to fill the gap. Characteristics of an effective program are outlined, techniques are shared, and one program is described that meets the needs for both culturally-competent, disability-aware students is described.
