Preparing Educators to Integrate Universal Design for Learning and Assistive Technology in the Inclusive Classroom Setting

Abstract: This session will highlight an ongoing partnership project between a teacher education program and a public school system designed to strengthen inclusive classroom instruction through professional development on Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, integration of UDL into instruction, and support and resources through the infusion of a technology package. Surveys and observation instruments used in this project along with preliminary data will be shared with session participants.
