Abstract: The use of interactive whiteboards has been more and more ubiquitous in K-12 schools. To equip pre-service teachers with the knowledge and skills of interactive whiteboards, it is important to offer them the opportunity to learn and use interactive whiteboards in teacher preparation programs. The purpose of this study is to understand pre-service teachers’ perceptions on learning and using interactive whiteboards in educational technology classes. The interactive whiteboard used in this study is SMART Board. The result of the study will provide directions for making course content on SMART Board more helpful, useful, and student-friendly.
