Abstract: Twitter as a new social media provides new opportunities for professional development of teachers. The use of Twitter for professional development of teachers can be based on individual applications; however, this presentation will show examples of from the field that ping point collaborative applications. Some of these applications can be shown as; collaboration of colleagues for professional development and individual development, collaboration of colleagues for communication about innovations, collaboration of colleagues for communication about educational improvements, collaboration of colleagues for sharing source and context, collaboration of colleagues for discussing and sharing self-experiences. After all, teachers could become colleague as a friend by a continuous communication and collaboration.
