Abstract: This paper outlines a 21st Century digital instructional model which includes effective teaching and learning strategies for secondary schools. The proposed instructional model addresses the needs of digital learners as they meet the expectations of the 21st Century Classroom. The paper provides a theoretical perspective for effectively teaching secondary students and justifies the need for change in the instructional practices of traditional classrooms. Instructional strategies are paired with digital tools to maximize the effects of successful teaching and learning. Effective application of the instructional model enables teachers to communicate content and engage students in a classroom: Where Learning Clicks.
