Abstract: Instant access to the Internet through the hand-held mobile technologies and wireless devices has provided educators and students with greater access to information in the classroom. It has also provided outstanding opportunities for faculty to address effective instruction through the use of Blended Learning Instructional Strategies (BLIS). This approach has improved instruction and learning through the integration of the best of face-to-face instructional strategies with effective technology-based instructional strategies. Using the “Marzano 9” essential instructional strategies as a framework, the implementation of effective Blended Learning strategies that promote student engagement will be shared.
