Abstract: Mobile media are becoming more prominent in the lives of people of all ages. This begins to trickle all the way down to young children. It is important to investigate the impact that mobile media are having on the lives of today’s children before they enter the formal school environment. These children, ages two-to five-years-old, can be influenced from a variety of factors, such as peers, preschool, and family. This study looks at the parent and child’s mobile media consumption and explores the effects this can have on their lives.
